Loving. Selfless. Compassionate. Fatherly. The list of Julian’s endearing qualities has certainly been growing.

Fox’s formerly absent dad popped up to give some advice: Stay away from Whitney! Of course, Julian wants Fox out of Whit’s life because she is Eve’s daughter. But during the “let her go” lecture, it was also obvious that dad wants to prevent Fox from heading down a destructive path – thus avoiding the misery now enveloping Julian. So, he was truly looking out for Fox’s best interests, after all.

Then, there was his concern for Ethan (whom Julian rejected in 2001 upon learning that he isn’t his biological son) during Sarah’s funeral. The men shared their most heartwarming moment to date. Ethan sighed, “I wonder what my life would have been like sometimes if this new Julian would have been my father.”

Multifaceted Julian continues to fascinate viewers. Meanwhile, let’s hope a little of that daddy do-goodness has an effect on his new evil daughter, Endora!
